DTR School of Trucking Las Vegas

Okay, I usually dont write reviews, but this time its must. I attended DTR school of trucking. From the beginning of the process till the end their service was incredible and amazing. They were able to accommodate my work schedule. The instructors were very kind and patient through the training process till completion. They were able to help me make this happen and never was there a problem concerning the whole course. I highly recommend this school, theyre services made things very comfortable and definitely go out of the way to make sure you have the skills and knowledge needed to complete and accomplished your goal. very satisfied with their services .

Russ was an amazing instructor!! Very helpful and thorough with the whole driving class. Only downfall was the class was pushed back almost 2 weeks behind schedule and pushed out too far that made the class and testing end 6 weeks from the original starting date. This made me cancel appointments I scheduled months before and cancel trips I d plan way ahead and after our original end date of July 2nd.

I passed my driver test on Monday and I am very excited to start my new journey. Thanks to DTR and all the staff for being very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this school to anyone who is looking to their CDL. Experience or not they teach you everything you need to know to get on the road. Thanks DTR.

In September of 2023 I underwent the CDL class A training program at DTR School of Trucking and thanks to Daniel and instructor Josh I obtained my CDL class A for automatic transmission. Third party testing site. Small class size. Plenty of one-on-one coaching with instructor, Josh, who was patient with me and brought a wealth of trucking wisdom ready to pass on to me from his 10 years of experience behind the wheel. Don t get me wrong it s a challenge to gain proficiency over all the material presented in the course, especially the pre-trip, but DTR was there with me every step of the way and in the end I completed the program with a sense of confidence in my learning progress and mastery of driving skills. I want to make special mention that throughout the month-long journey I got the distinct impression that staff at DTR really cared about me as a driver and were willing to invest in my learning process. DTR is not just one of those CDL mill schools where they treat you like youre just another brick in the wall, a statistic, a number. No, at DTR I got personalized attention and encouragement on areas where I needed to improve. They helped me laser in on my weak points and gave me practice to where I felt competent. TBH when I started at DTR I couldn t even back up a tricycle, let alone successfully do a 90 degree alley dock! But they didn t give up on me, and schooled me up so I could pass the driving portion with confidence and gave me a solid background in safe driving strategies along with the theoretical underpinnings of the modern tractor/trailer pre-trip inspection to obtain my CDL. I am confident in my recommendation of DTR School of Trucking to anyone looking to get their CDL class A, take a refresher, and especially to people that are a little hesitant (like me) going into it about their abilities to drive truck. Truck driving is my second career. DTR enabled me to learn, absorb and to practice all of the skills requisite of passing the test. The instructors are knowledgable and patient. I would recommend DTR to anyone contemplating a career in trucking.

As soon as I spoke with DTRl about the school. I knew it was a great fit for me. I spoke with all the schools in Las Vegas. And none of them gave me the feeling as DTR. Ultimately I made the right decision and Im glad I got my start with them. The training and the instructors were great. I learned so many things and Im coming from driving city buses. First I would like to thank our instructor Mike Graham and the rest of the DTR staff for being a world class bunch! These guys crammed 2+ months of curriculum into a very fast paced 4 weeks, and did it in a way that the average fella like myself could retain and utilize all the information. From the pre-trip, the air-brakes and skills, and finally the actual on the road driving, DTR in my opinion offers the best all around crash coarse in trucking on the block. Thanks for the education guys, and if anyone was looking to get started in the transportation industry, DTR is most definitely a great place to start!!

DTR is the best school out there. Very professional and have so much information to make sure I knew everything I needed. Classes are great and instructors are the best. I will be telling everyone to be going here.

Great instructors with many years of experience they make sure you have the skills to succeed. Administrator assistant Keisha is great. Road examiner is tough and very demanding in a good way. The only negative I observed is the need to update training facility and equipment. Otherwise great school.

Graduated back in August. Loved the experience at DTR. Classes were small with one on one training. Manual and Automatic trucks were available. Instructors were excellent, very professional and DMV certified. Instructors went above and beyond to make sure our skills were at 110%. I m very confident in my trailer backing skills and tractor driving. DTR is very fairly price for the CDL A program. Expect to pay nearly double with larger classes anywhere else. Thanks again DTR!
